Getting started with Summit Hub
Who can use it. Anyone signing their business up to Summit Hub — you become the owner of your new company workspace. (While self-serve sign-ups are paused, the sign-up page shows a waitlist form instead; join it and we'll be in touch when we open up.)
What it's for
Getting from "I've heard about Summit Hub" to a running workspace with your pipeline ready, your team invited, and your tools connected. This is the first-run walkthrough for a brand-new company owner.
How to use it
- Sign up. From the marketing site, click Get Started (or go to the sign-up page). Enter your email address — there's no password to choose.
- Open the magic link. We email you a secure sign-in link. Open the email and click Continue (the button confirms it's really you and stops email security scanners from using the link up before you do). The link signs you in on that device.
- Create your company. On your first sign-in you're asked for your company name. Enter it and click Create company — you become its owner.
- Choose a plan. If billing is switched on, you pick a plan next. Depending on the current offer, your plan may start with a free trial — when it does, you add your card at sign-up but aren't charged until the trial ends, and you can change or cancel from Settings → Billing before then. If there's no trial running, your plan is active as soon as you pay. Either way you go through the secure Stripe checkout.
- Land on your pipeline. You arrive on your pipeline board, which already has a ready-to-use set of stages (New Lead → Quoting → Quote Sent → Closed → Lost). You can start adding deals straight away, or rename the stages to match how you work.
- Invite your team. Go to Clients → Team and add team members as Staff, or choose Field on Crew and Company for a restricted on-site view. Solo includes the owner account only. Each person gets their own magic-link invite to sign in.
- Connect your tools (optional). Open Settings to connect HubSpot, Xero and/or Buildxact in a click each — no developer keys to paste. Once connected, your deals, invoices and estimates keep in step in the background. You don't need any of them to get value: the pipeline, estimating and portal all work natively.
You'll see a short welcome banner on your first visit with quick links to invite your team and connect your tools; dismiss it once you're set.
What it affects
Setting up your company creates your workspace: your pipeline, your team's access, and (if you connect them) the live sync with HubSpot, Xero and Buildxact. Your billing plan governs your seat, deal and portal limits — see the plan comparison on the pricing page.
Good to know
- No passwords. Signing in is always a fresh magic link to your email — there's nothing to remember or reset.
- The trial still needs a card. With a free trial, Stripe collects your card at sign-up and makes the first charge when the trial ends; cancel before then and you won't be charged.
- You can start empty-handed. HubSpot, Xero and Buildxact are optional. Connect them whenever you're ready — or never — and the app still runs your pipeline, estimates and client portal.
- Homeowners don't sign up here. Your clients get access to their project portal when you invite them from inside the app, not through this company sign-up.
